VCI clasps are the number one solution for storing your scan tool VCI. Each clasp is custom fitted for each application, a bungie for neatly storing the cable while not in use and. Optional magnet and hardware kit is available as well to make the clasp magnetic, along with option to attach an AirTag.

Note: if you are not buying the magnet kit I would suggest not adding the AirTag option, since the AirTag mount extends past the body without magnets it doesn’t allow the VCI to lay flush.

Magnets and paint

If you purchase the magnet kit please take care if you are attaching it to a body of a car. The rubber magnets themselves should not scratch, but be aware that magnets can attract metal shavings and so on. …..So like don’t slap it against a door with a 10mm nut stuck to it. On one hand you have found your 10mm nut that you dropped, the second…you just scratched a vehicle.

Made in the USA shockcord provided. If you plan on replacing the shockcord the size is 3.5mm / .15in shockcord. When you find the right length and tie the knots flush cut and then slightly braise the end and put pressure with something to lock in the knot.

Made with PETG and should hold up very well in hot enviroments, but I cannot always guarantee that. I’ve tested my holders and clasps in a 100 degree car with no issues of warping. Results may vary in super hot climates.

To remove AirTag. Use the hole inside to pop it out.
