Mongoose Cable Repair Service
Have an old Mongoose VCI that you think stopped working? Well it might be the cable so don’t chuck it just yet, send it in! You have 2 options for repair, first option is me just replacing the cable. This is a no frills option, old cable comes out and new cable goes in with a new USB end. Second option is a bit more fancy, you get a new case body (keep in mind the OBD portion that plugs in does not get replaced since that is almost impossible to detach from the circuit board) with a detachable cable and an CNC aluminum USB end. This is a nice option since you can detach the cable and if you ever need another cable I can just ship one out to you.
Once you complete the order please email me at draildiagnostics@gmail.com so we can set up getting it shipped out to me. If you need to send multiple items when adding to the cart you will have to back out and then re-add (website limitation I guess)
ATTN: It is very very very confusing when I get orders that have multiple names attached to the order. Example, you check out with a name in the email, vs the actual name, then I get a package with a service managers name. Please consolidate this the person checking out, if you are a tech that contacts me and then I have a service manager asking about it or shipping it and 5 different names. I will not start on it until a single contact, email and order is figured out. Sorry for the inconvenience
Most of the time the cables are bad and need replacement, but I have seen some pretty destroyed boards from attempted repairs. BEFORE you check out take the case off (they are tiny Torx screws) and send some photos to draildiagnostics@gmail.com. If a board is sent in that is melted and I have to ship it back shipping charges will apply

Premium shown with Black CNC ends, I normally rotate through silver and black so depending on what I have in stock black or silver might be sent out. I also vary up the cable sleeving depending on what is available / what I am in the mood for, but usually something that will match.
