FAKRA to dual banana adaptor
This adaptor pairs great with my FAKRA bypass cable kit or even by itself! If you are familiar with FAKRA connectors on vehicles (IE…GPS, XM…Radio…even some camera systems). It can be a major PITA to either ohm end to end or even get a good grab on the shield or center conductor. This little cable breakout separates those two portions of the cable into non stacking banana connectors for easier connections.
Tip: I have noticed a lot of vehicles will give you open and short codes similar to an SRS circuit. With this adaptor you can easily short together the shield and center. For example if you have an open code but you are unsure if the harness if faulty you could install this on one end short it together, clear and re-read the code. If it goes to a short circuit code, for the most part you know the harness portion is good. I have had a very high success rate doing this.
